Bring the freshness of spring indoors with the Prairie Series

There is something welcoming about a home that feels connected to the landscape around it. Warm wood tones, gentle color and natural textures invite you to settle in.

For this edition of The Atlas Design Studio, we’re pairing Dixie with the Prairie Series—a collection inspired by the lush colors of spring and the quiet beauty of the outdoors.

With Camas and Syringa, you can create a coordinated foundation while leaving room for your own expression of home.

Begin with the Feeling

Prairie brings muted vibrancy to an organic atmosphere. Its wood finishes and warm neutrals create a comfortable starting point for soft color, generous houseplants and art inspired by nature.

Picture a leafy plant beside a sunny window, a woven basket holding a favorite blanket or a landscape painting that reminds you of somewhere you love.

These details help connect your interior to its surroundings without needing every element to match.

Bring a little spring indoors—and make room for the things that feel like home.

Meet Camas and Syringa

The Prairie Series offers two cabinet finishes with a shared design giving you flexibility within a coordinated collection.

Because the cabinets share the same style and family, you can combine their finishes within the same room. Hayfield perimeter cabinets with an Elderwood island, for example, would create a focal point while maintaining a consistent cabinet design.

Coordinate Your Countertops

The countertops are interchangeable between the Prairie packages, too. You can explore the combination that best suits your preferences or use the two coordinating surfaces to distinguish an island from the surrounding counters.

Consider the cabinets and countertops together. Their relationship will shape the room more than either selection viewed on its own.

Creating a Comfortable Haven

Water Chestnut walls provide a warm neutral backdrop, allowing the wood finishes and accent colors to stand out.

Gypsum ceilings and trim introduce a soft white contrast that keeps the palette feeling light.

White Oak luxury vinyl flooring carries the warmth of wood tones through the home and helps connect the different spaces.

Together, these selections give Prairie a cohesive foundation. Your furniture, artwork and textiles can then add the personality.

Envision Your Palette

Our mood boards explore two ways to bring Prairie’s spring inspiration into your home.

A Fresh Living Area

An optional French Market accent wall introduces a gentle green around the fireplace. Natural stone, warm wood and woven baskets keep the room grounded while botanical artwork and generous greenery reinforce the outdoor connection.

Cream upholstery provides breathing room. Muted green and soft peach pillows add small touches of color that can change with the seasons.

A Welcoming Master Bedroom

Jonquil Yellow • A buttery yellow wall pairs with sage and ivory for a welcoming Master bedroom retreat

Ivory bedding, a muted sage quilt and light wood furnishings balance the yellow. Meadow-inspired artwork and leafy plants continue the spring palette without overwhelming the room.

The feeling is relaxed and personal—a comfortable place to begin and end the day.

Pro Tip: Keep Your Vision in View

Ted encourages clients to develop a clear picture of what they want their home to look like and keep that direction in mind throughout the project.

Review your selections together, pencil out your ideas and make the lasting decisions with care. Cabinets, countertops and flooring should support a look you will enjoy for years.

Your decor has more freedom to evolve. A new painting, a different throw rug or seasonal bedding can refresh a room without changing its foundation.

Let your decor grow with you. Choose a foundation you’ll love coming home to.

Let’s Find Your Prairie Palette

Perhaps you’re drawn to the light warmth of Camas, the earthy depth of Syringa or a combination of both.

We would love to hear what feels right to you and help you explore how the Prairie Series could come together in your Dixie home.
